Detailed Terms & Conditions :

Unwind Outdoor Responsibility :

  • SUV's will be thoroughly serviced and checked before handing over to the Guest
  • Regular maintenance will be done to keep the SUV's in top running conditions. Care is taken to give the SUV in absolutely clean condition.
  • The condition of the Tyres and overall upkeep of maintainance is done keeping the tough Ladakh Terrain in mind
  • Provide complete assistance during unexpected scenario / condition during the trip 

Guest Responsibility

  • Pay the Toll & Taxes as per law ( Required for Punjab , J & K & Himachal ) . Haryana Tax will be paid
  • Keep the SUV clean
  • Not Drive the SUV recklessly and cause multiple damages to the vehicle in a short periof of the trip. KIndly check our SUV Driving tips for Ladakh for trouble free Road Trip

Rental Terms

Description

Eligibility Age

25 Years or above

Documents

Passport/ Voter ID, Driving license, Credit Card with desired limit of Security Deposit. If the Guest does not present the above documents, in original, at the time of obtaining delivery of the Vehicle, Unwind Outdoor shall be entitled to refuse the delivery of the Vehicle and cancel this Agreement. In such an event 50% of the amount paid by the Guest shall be forfeited by Unwind Outdoor

Security Deposit

INR 25000 For Terrano/Innova/Scorpio/XUV / Fortuner 

INR 50000 for Q3

Security Deposit payment in cash not acceptable. You can pay by credit card / debit Card / NEFT. The money will remain with PayU Money and will be refunded back. If there are no damages to the vehicle, the money will be refunded within 5 working days. In case of damages, money will be refunded only after getting the repairs done.

Delivery / Collection

As per Location defined & agreed in the package. Kindly plan Pick up and Delivery of Vehicle between 8 AM to 8 PM. We do not have 24x7 operations

Included KMs

As per plan ( Roughly 3000 to 3200 kms for Ladakh Trip, About 2000 kms for Spiti Trips )

Extra KM Rate

N/A

Fuel

The vehicle will be provided with a full tank of fuel. In case the tank is not full at the time of return of vehicle, the Guest will be charged for short fuel along with 10% surcharge on fuel price.

Extra day

No request for extra days will be entertained. The vehicles are booked as per schedule and needs to be provided to the Guest who have booked it next. Only in case of breakdown or landslides will this request be entertained 

GPS Navigation system

We have used various Navigation devises and can confirm that the best navigation is through your Android Phone and Google Maps. Kindly download offline maps and you are good to go with our detailed daily maps

Returning vehicle late

This request will not be entertained. Severe penalties will apply. We have booked the vehicle considering certain buffer. If we are unable to service our next booking, we will recover business loss from the Guest. However, if the delay is due to landslide/road block, we will only levy extra per day rental.

No Show

In case of No-Show no amount will be refunded to the Guest

Vehicle Damage

  • Minor Damages for example, a bumper repair, a door repair and paint, a side view mirror replacement to be recovered as per actuals. No Insurance claim will be made in these cases

  • Under body damage or Cut in the side wall of the Tyre Or Clutch Burnout are all example of inexperienced driving and such damages will also be recovered directly. No Insurance claim is applicable in these cases. 
  • In case of Accident, Insurance claim will be filed and depreciation amount & parts which are not covered under insurance will be recovered from the Guest . The maximum liability under these circumstance is fixed to Rs 20,000. The assessment of damage made by Insurance company will be final. For transperancy, the Authorized Service Center estimate will be shared with the Guest. Replacement vehicle can be provided at an extra cost if the guest would like to continue with the trip 

  • Upon the arrival of the car, it shall be taken to service station for inspection, any damage pertaining to the car respect to interior/ exterior or mechanical damage, the details of estimate will be shared with the Guest

Replacement Vehicle

In the event of vehicle breakdown in remote areas, due to some fault in the Car, Unwind Outdoor will disptatch an Alternate vehicle from the nearest station like Srinagar, Manali , Kargil or Leh. It will not be self drive but a regular Taxi so that you can continue with the trip. This will ensure that your trip goes smoothly as per plan. The Guest responsibility is to take the car to the nearest safe point / workshop where we can organize its repairs. The changes in the plan resulting due to this will be discussed and alternate plans will be made.  If the breakdown is due to clutch breakdown or under body damage, then the cost of replacement vehicle will be borne by the Guest.

 

Roadside assistance

Unwind Outdoor will provide its support and road side assistance to Guest if the location is easily approachable. In the interest of time, any Minor fault can be fixed easily by taking the vehicle to the nearest service center. Unwind Outdoor will bear such expenses.

Outstation

When travelling out of state, it is always important to stop at RTO check post to pay the government applicable tax. Cost / penalties pertaining to such interstate tax, toll or any other govt. levied tax will be borne by the Guest directly.

Traffic Rule Violation

Cost for any traffic rule violation during the rental tenure will be borne by the Guest directly. In cases, where challans is received by the Unwind Outdoor via post upon completion of the Agreement, the Guest authorizes the Unwind Outdoor to charge the same on the credit card number of the Guest as mentioned in this Agreement offline. The Guest Shall follow all the rules and regulation under applicable laws while driving the vehicle and otherwise including applicable speed limits.

Cleanliness

Unwind Outdoor does not allow the vehicle to be used to carry pets, goods or any other object which can annihilate the upholstery/any part of the vehicle. If the upholsetry / carpet is soiled with food / marks /stains, dry cleaning charges of Rs 2000 will be levied. If the stains cannot be removed by dry cleaning then charges as per actuals will be levied.

Vehicle Theft

Vehicle will be considered stolen only if you give the key back to us. We will claim Insurance for vehicle theft and the balance amount will be recovered from the Guest
